Venice & Verona Tour

Venice: 4 nights: Upon arrival into Venice, settle into our hotel and get ready for a fun and fabulous week! We meet this afternoon for a welcome drink before embarking on a classic Venetian gondola ride through the city’s charming canals and hidden waterways. Afterwards, we enjoy a traditional venetian dinner together!

Venice: This morning we start off with a visit to the historic Rialto Market, then we enjoy a special guided tour of two of Venice’s most iconic landmarks: St Mark’s Basilica and the magnificent Doge’s Palace. The afternoon is yours to explore at your own pace. Visit a museum, sip a spritz at a canal-side café, browse local boutiques, or simply wander Venice’s enchanting maze of alleyways and bridges.

Venice: Today we escape the bustle of Venice and venture into the enchanting Venetian Lagoon. Our first stop is the island of Burano, famous for its rainbow-colored fisherman’s houses, charming canals, and centuries-old lace-making tradition. We enjoy a leisurely lunch featuring fresh local seafood and regional specialties while overlooking the colorful canals that have made this island famous. We then continue to the peaceful island of Torcello. Once the most important settlement in the lagoon, Torcello offers a glimpse into Venice’s earliest history. Visit the island’s ancient cathedral, wander the quiet pathways lined with gardens and experience a side of the lagoon that feels worlds away from the crowds.

Venice: Today takes us to the beautiful rolling hills of Italy’s celebrated Prosecco region for a day filled with stunning scenery and exceptional wines. We’ll visit tree carefully selected wineries, learning about the winemaking traditions that have made this region world-famous. Along the way, we enjoy lunch overlooking the vineyards, complete with local specialties and breathtaking views of the countryside.

Verona: 3 nights: Today we travel by train to the elegant city of Verona. After lunch together, relax at the hotel or do a little shopping before we head up to Castle San Pietro, one of Verona’s most spectacular viewpoints. Enjoy sweeping views over the city and the Adige River while sipping on a traditional aperitivo. This evening we gather for a dinner at a wonderful local restaurant.

Verona: This morning, explore Verona with a local guide as you stroll through elegant piazzas, Roman landmarks, and charming medieval streets. Following the tour, the remainder of the day is yours to enjoy at your own pace. Visit the beautiful Giusti Garden, browse the market in Piazza delle Erbe, relax at a café or simply wander through one of Italy’s most romantic cities.

Verona: Today we journey to the shores of beautiful Lake Garda. In the charming lakeside town of Sirmione, we enjoy a two-hour boat cruise. You then have time to explore on your own to have lunch and perhaps visit the impressive Scaliger Castle or shop in the village. On our return to Verona, we’ll stop in the renowned Valpolicella region for a tasting of local wines and regional specialties before returning to the city.

Verona: Our journey comes to an end after breakfast. As you depart, you’ll take home wonderful memories of Venice’s canals, Verona’s romance, unforgettable wines and the beauty of Northern Italy.
